This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +7 more countries.
• Operate, oversee, and sustain current analysis pipelines, internal R packages, and report templates, which include interactive data exploration tools.
• Collaborate through git by utilizing branching, pull requests, and code reviews; manage handoff processes.
• Administer the complete data flow, which involves requesting data from BDM, tracking its delivery, organizing it on internal servers, and maintaining the folder structure along with data cut documentation.
• Prepare and dispatch sample lists to sample management and other departments as needed.
• Partner with scientists to standardize diverse formats for the continuous integration of biomarker data into unified data formats.
• Keep run logs and verify outputs against anticipated formats and metrics.
• Ensure that both raw and processed outputs are stored according to team conventions.
• Maintain project and deliverable trackers that encompass status, owners, due dates, dependencies, and links.
• Provide clear visibility for stakeholders.
• Sustain a reusable library of Claude Code prompts, snippets, and skills for frequently performed tasks.
• Establish standards for AI-assisted workflows, including style, testing, and documentation.
• Offer light enablement for consistent AI-assisted coding workflows.
• Must reside in and possess the right to work in one of the following EMEA countries only: United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, Romania, Serbia, Lithuania, or Poland.
• Proficient in open-source programming languages such as R, R Shiny, and bash.
• Familiarity with version control systems (git).
• Experience utilizing Claude Code and other AI tools.
• Knowledge of SQL, database design (PostgreSQL/similar), and ETL pipelines.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
• Awareness of fundamental statistical modeling concepts (linear/logistic models, survival analysis, multiple testing considerations).
• Quality control mindset and validation skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in R/R/Python, R Shiny, and bash.
• Bachelor’s degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Computational Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Over 2 years of programming experience, ideally in processing molecular data and/or clinical trial data within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or health-related sectors.
