Senior Asset Protection Investigator, Field Based

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement proactive asset recovery and loss prevention strategies throughout the region.

• Safeguard CHEP's proprietary information and intellectual property.

• Oversee undercover investigations and intricate surveillance operations.

• Coordinate follow-up measures concerning security threats and asset loss.

• Monitor and apply fraud prevention strategies.

• Direct both internal and external investigations of fraud, including legal actions.

• Collect, analyze, and categorize data related to criminal activities.

• Create and maintain a database to support ongoing and future investigations.

• Execute internet security and social media inquiries.

• Identify and reduce threats posed by criminal organizations.

• Manage post-incident follow-up and efforts for property recovery.

• Ensure prompt resolution of asset loss incidents.

• Act as a subject matter expert in security standards and practices.

• Propel asset protection, loss control, and audit initiatives throughout the organization.

• Deploy electronic tracking devices as authorized and within legal frameworks.

• Utilize tracking tools to assist in investigations and asset recovery.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5–10 years of experience in law enforcement is preferred.

• A background as an investigator or detective is highly regarded.

• Excellent report-writing and investigative abilities.

• Competence in documenting, investigating, and following through on theft and illegal activities.

• Strong analytical skills with the capability to manage intricate cases.

• Proficiency in using tracking devices like BRICS/BXB.

• Ability to monitor social media for unlawful activities.

• Capability to leverage digital data for investigative purposes.

• Willingness to undertake extensive travel and fieldwork.

• A full-time, active position rather than a typical desk job.

• Capacity to handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Experience conducting background checks and evaluating candidate suitability.

• Regular travel within the territory is required, necessitating heavy weekly driving.

• Flexibility to cover additional territories as required.

• Occasional overnight stays of 1–2 nights every other week may be necessary.
