Senior Asset Protection Investigator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Design and implement proactive programs for loss prevention and asset recovery throughout the region.

• Safeguard CHEP’s proprietary information and intellectual property assets.

• Oversee undercover investigations and intricate surveillance operations.

• Coordinate follow-up actions to pinpoint and address security vulnerabilities and asset loss.

• Monitor and enforce fraud prevention strategies.

• Lead both internal and external fraud investigations and legal actions.

• Collect, analyze, and categorize data related to criminal activities.

• Develop a comprehensive database to support ongoing and future investigations.

• Conduct investigations related to internet security and social media.

• Identify and mitigate threats posed by criminal enterprises using both internal and external resources.

• Manage post-incident follow-up and coordinate efforts for property recovery.

• Ensure the prompt resolution of asset loss cases.

• Act as a subject matter expert on security standards and practices.

• Propel initiatives related to asset protection, loss control, and auditing throughout the organization.

• Deploy electronic tracking devices where permitted and adhere to legal protocols.

• Travel extensively within and beyond the area of responsibility to uphold CHEP USA’s property rights.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred minimum of 5–10 years of experience in law enforcement.

• Background as an investigator or detective is highly valued.

• Proven report writing and investigative capabilities.

• Competence in documenting, investigating, and following through on theft and illegal activity cases.

• Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to manage intricate cases.

• Proficiency in using tracking devices, including BRICS/BXB devices.

• Ability to monitor social media for illicit activities and utilize digital data in investigations.

• Comfortable with significant travel and field-based work.

• Full-time, active position.

• Capability to handle sensitive information appropriately.

• Experience conducting background checks and assessing candidate qualifications.

• Required to travel extensively within the territory by car.

• Flexibility to cover additional territories as needed.

• Occasional overnight stays of 1–2 nights every other week may be necessary.
