Senior Arquitecto/a IAM & SSO – Apereo CAS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and enhance corporate identity and access platforms based on Apereo CAS.

• Lead migration projects between different versions of Apereo CAS.

• Define centralized authentication architectures, Single Sign-On (SSO), and identity federation.

• Design and implement integrations with LDAP, Active Directory, and other corporate repositories.

• Configure and manage Service Registry, Ticket Registry, and Authentication Handlers.

• Implement Attribute Release Policies and multifactor authentication (MFA) policies.

• Design mechanisms for Single Logout and access auditing.

• Ensure monitoring, availability, performance, and security of the platform.

• Participate in defining corporate identity and security standards.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and development teams to ensure proper integration of services.

• Act as a technical reference in identity and access management initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate authentication and identity systems.

• Proven experience with Apereo CAS.

• Experience in migrating CAS platforms.

• Experience in Java Enterprise development.

• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot.

• Experience integrating with LDAP and Active Directory.

• Experience in designing, operating, and evolving IAM and SSO platforms.

• Advanced knowledge of the internal architecture of Apereo CAS.

• Experience with Service Registry, Ticket Registry, and Authentication Handlers.

• Knowledge of Attribute Release Policies.

• Experience in multifactor authentication (MFA).

• Experience with Single Logout.

• Knowledge of auditing and monitoring identity platforms.

• Proficiency in identity and federation protocols: CAS Protocol, SAML 2.0, OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC), LDAP, Kerberos/SPNEGO.

• Experience with Java 17 or later versions.

• Ability to demonstrate technical leadership, autonomy, and a problem-solving orientation.
