This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.
• Create and implement strategies for territory growth aimed at enhancing sales, market share, and customer interaction.
• Establish and nurture relationships with dealers, independent door shops, and channel partners within the designated territory.
• Identify, recruit, onboard, and activate new dealer partners.
• Stimulate demand generation and drive sales by influencing product specifications, recommendations, and adoption.
• Assist dealer partners in broadening their product range, boosting sell-through rates, and enhancing business performance.
• Provide product training, solution-focused selling programs, and value proposition education to dealer sales teams and installers.
• Support the launch of new products, promotional initiatives, and premium product efforts.
• Collaborate with distribution sales teams and commercial partners to develop coordinated market strategies.
• Work alongside Sales Enablement, Channel Marketing, Product Management, and Regional Sales teams.
• Leverage CRM systems and sales tools to manage opportunities, monitor customer activities, and evaluate performance.
• Keep track of market conditions, competitive actions, customer trends, and dealer performance.
• Facilitate lead management and opportunity conversion by implementing best practices and ensuring consistent follow-up.
• Provide dealers with valuable market insights, tools, and resources.
• Conduct business reviews and present sales presentations.
• Act as a trusted local market expert and advocate for both customers and the organization.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in direct sales, account management, business development, or a similar customer-facing role.
• Proven track record of building and sustaining strong customer relationships.
• Experience in driving sales growth, market development, and customer engagement initiatives.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to influence customer decisions through consultative and value-oriented selling methods.
• Strong organizational skills and effective territory management capabilities.
• Competence in analyzing market data, customer trends, and business performance to inform decision-making.
• Self-driven with the capacity to work independently in a field-based setting.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.
• Preferred: Experience working with dealers, distributors, channel partners, or independent retail organizations.
• Preferred: Background in building materials, doors, millwork, construction products, or related industries.
• Preferred: Experience supporting product launches, promotional campaigns, and market activation efforts.
• Preferred: Familiarity with CRM and lead management platforms for managing customer activities and sales opportunities.
• Preferred: Experience collaborating across Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Enablement teams.
• Preferred: Demonstrated success in increasing market share and enhancing customer adoption of premium product solutions.
