Senior Architect – Security and Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Address monitoring alerts and client inquiries, encompassing both break-fix and proactive support tasks.

• Deliver architect-level assistance for clients' Azure environments, with an emphasis on infrastructure and security.

• Design new Azure environments and implement modifications to existing setups.

• Strategically plan and address issues highlighted in Azure and OS-level vulnerability assessments.

• Conduct best-practice security evaluations of clients' Azure environments.

• Manage security alerts, performing basic triage and response, including device/user isolation when necessary.

• Elevate security concerns to clients as required.

• Serve as a trusted advisor for clients regarding their Azure environments.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience with Azure, emphasizing infrastructure, security, and networking.

• Fundamental experience with PaaS resources.

• More than 3 years of experience with Windows Server and associated components, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and server management.

• Some familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, covering Entra ID tenant management, Exchange Online, and Intune.

• Basic experience in PowerShell.

• Experience with Linux is advantageous.

• Familiarity with managing firewalls, specifically Palo Altos, is a plus.

• Willingness to be on call approximately one week per month.

• Average of one call per month.
