📋 Description

• Oversee the implementation of effective solutions that tackle fundamental security issues, focusing on sustainable systems and measurable results.

• Investigate intricate systems, data sources, and internal platforms to pinpoint integration possibilities, enhance data reliability, and bolster security measures.

• Work in partnership with engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to convey complex ideas, align priorities, and convert technical challenges into practical solutions.

• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and ongoing improvement while providing support and mentorship to engineers through technical guidance and teamwork.

• Strengthen Akamai's security framework by recognizing and assisting in the mitigation of risks and vulnerabilities.

• Collaborate with top-tier security professionals as part of a global team.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 8 years of experience in leading and delivering cybersecurity data-related solutions within large-scale enterprise environments.

• Familiarity with security, networking, and big data technologies.

• Significant experience in system and application development, operating systems, and cloud architecture.

• Profound technical knowledge with a hands-on approach.

• Understanding of network security, detection and response, threat management, and vulnerability scanning and management.

• Competence in modern development languages and CI/CD pipelines.

• Insight into utilizing AI/LLM technologies for security and operational challenges.

• Capability to collaborate across organizational boundaries and articulate complex concepts to engineers and senior leadership.
