This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain the organization's IT architecture framework in alignment with business goals, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.

• Offer technical leadership and direction to architecture and development teams.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to convert business needs into technical solutions.

• Design comprehensive IT solutions that encompass infrastructure, applications, data, and security.

• Assess and recommend technologies, tools, and methodologies.

• Conduct architectural reviews and provide guidance to development teams on architectural principles and standards.

• Identify and address architectural risks and challenges.

• Define and maintain IT architecture documentation, including diagrams, standards, policies, and procedures.

• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to promote continuous improvement.

• Deliver high-quality, scalable data products that significantly enhance company performance.

• Perform additional duties as required or assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience as a substitute for educational qualifications.

• At least 6 years of experience in Enterprise, Business, Information, Systems, Application, or Solution Architectures.

• Strong expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-scale IT solutions across various platforms and technologies.

• Comprehensive knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Proficient in system integration techniques, including API design, microservices architecture, and message queuing protocols.

• Practical experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Preferred: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Preferred: Experience in pharmaceutical R&D, clinical development, and/or healthcare IT.
