This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
β’ Create innovative tools and features in NVIDIA ALCHEMI to enhance performant atomistic simulation workflows.
β’ Assist customers and developers in integrating material science applications with AI surrogates utilizing NVIDIA ALCHEMI.
β’ Conduct application profiling and benchmarking to showcase product value.
β’ Work alongside subject matter experts to produce whitepapers and conduct research.
β’ Engage in workshops centered around material science and AI.
β’ Collaborate across research, engineering, and product teams to develop software tools that connect traditional simulations with AI surrogates.
β’ PhD or equivalent experience in computational physics, computational chemistry, computer science, or other related technical disciplines.
β’ Over 8 years of experience or proven expertise in creating high-performance numerical methods for scientific computing or material science applications.
β’ Proficient in executing material science simulations on large-scale HPC systems.
β’ Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a globally distributed team.
β’ Strong proficiency in Fortran, C++, CUDA, Python, and mainstream Material Science tools.
β’ Exceptional understanding of high-performance plane waves primitives response properties and high-throughput screening.
β’ Experience with implementing high-performance accelerator algorithms, optimizing runtime performance, and utilizing floating-point emulation and mixed precision libraries.
