This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Actively seek and resolve security vulnerabilities within Counterpart Assistant utilizing both tools and custom scripts to simulate real-world attacks.
• Strengthen the security of platform systems, services, and endpoints.
• Implement robust security monitoring across services and the technology stack.
• Protect PHI and oversee deidentification processes.
• Identify and mitigate potential data leakage pathways for protected information.
• Leverage AI agents and frameworks to enhance vulnerability discovery within defined parameters.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure secure practices as the AI threat landscape evolves.
• Evaluate critical pull requests across various teams.
• Conduct security training sessions and guide engineers on secure coding practices.
• Work alongside site reliability engineering, engineering leadership, and corporate security teams to develop defensive strategies.
• Enhance system resilience and assure comprehensive disaster recovery plans are in place.
• Over 8 years of experience in software engineering.
• At least 4 years dedicated to application security, vulnerability research, and penetration testing.
• Proven skill in identifying vulnerabilities using custom tools.
• Daily application of AI for vulnerability detection.
• Familiarity with AI tools, agents, and frameworks, including their appropriate guardrails.
• Proficiency in coding across the entire stack.
• Comfortable working with various programming languages.
• Ability to strike a balance between security requirements and the needs of engineers, clinicians, and operators.
• Experience in mentoring engineers to adopt improved security practices.
• Background in developing software related to patient care.
