Senior Application Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Design, engineer, and assess concrete formwork and shoring configurations, incorporating custom elements for intricate projects.

• Assist during pre-construction and ongoing project phases.

• Create comprehensive formwork and shoring drawings utilizing AutoCAD and/or Revit.

• Conduct structural calculations to confirm load capacities and ensure safety standards.

• Generate bills of material and evaluate peer designs for precision and enhancement.

• Strategically plan and organize formwork and shoring systems according to inventory, schedule, budget, and client specifications.

• Work collaboratively with construction teams to ensure effective design implementation.

• Offer technical insights to sales and operations teams throughout the project duration.

• Participate in customer meetings during and post-sales to facilitate technical discussions and ensure design alignment.

• Identify and resolve complex issues.

• Carry out assignments independently and develop solutions.

• May supervise project completion, which includes planning, assigning, monitoring, and reviewing tasks.

• Contribute to the professional growth of employees.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.

• Typically, 5-8 years of experience in a related area, or a Master’s degree with generally 3-5 years of experience in a relevant field.

• Certification may be required in certain areas.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

• At least 3 years of experience in designing bridge overhang brackets.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings and specifications.

• Professional Engineer License is preferred.

• Competence in performing structural calculations and validating load capacities.

• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit.

• Understanding of civil engineering principles pertaining to formwork and shoring systems.
