This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.
β’ Collaborate with regional sales teams to offer technical expertise throughout the sales process, from initial discovery to final deployment.
β’ Conduct product demonstrations, system design consultations, and technical presentations for integrators, consultants, and end users.
β’ Assist in the development of specifications with architecture and engineering firms, as well as security consultants, to effectively position ASSA ABLOY solutions in project designs.
β’ Support the design of system architecture, including readers, controllers, credentials, and both cloud-based and on-premises software platforms.
β’ Provide hands-on assistance for product evaluations, pilot deployments, and troubleshooting in the field.
β’ Act as a subject matter expert on Control iD and electronic access control solutions, which include biometric, mobile, and IP-based systems.
β’ Collect field intelligence regarding competitors, customer requirements, and emerging trends to inform product and marketing strategies.
β’ Facilitate technical training sessions for integrators and channel partners.
β’ Work in collaboration with product management, support, and engineering teams to address issues and enhance offerings.
β’ 3β7+ years of experience in a sales engineering, applications engineering, or technical support capacity within the electronic access control or physical security sector.
β’ Solid understanding of access control system components, including RFID, mobile, and biometric credentials, as well as readers, controllers, and management software.
β’ Familiarity with networking fundamentals, such as TCP/IP, PoE, and VLANs.
β’ Knowledge of principles related to system integration.
β’ Experience collaborating with systems integrators, security consultants, and enterprise end users.
β’ Ability to convert technical capabilities into customer value and business outcomes.
β’ Excellent technical and customer-facing presentation and communication skills.
β’ Willingness to travel within the region approximately 30β50% of the time.
β’ Preferred experience with Control iD or similar biometric/IP-based access control platforms.
β’ Familiarity with UL 294, OSDP, and SIA protocols is a plus.
β’ Preferred experience in supporting cloud-based access control solutions and mobile credential ecosystems.
β’ Background in low-voltage system design or installation is advantageous.
β’ Bilingual in English/Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
