Senior Application Developer – Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, create, test, and sustain full stack applications, workflows, and supporting services on the Palantir Foundry platform.

• Develop functionality for users, backend logic, and workflow features tailored for enterprise applications in finance, supply chain, operations, engineering, and strategic planning.

• Convert user stories and functional requirements into technical solutions with support from senior developers and architects.

• Create and maintain batch and near-real-time data pipelines that integrate legacy enterprise systems with Foundry.

• Execute data transformations, validations, and quality checks to ensure reliable data products.

• Ensure alignment of development with ontology models, governance standards, and integration patterns.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to coding, testing, and review standards.

• Engage in unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and resolving defects.

• Contribute to enhancements in both frontend and backend, including UI components, APIs, pipeline logic, and workflow automation.

• Take part in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, demos, and retrospectives.

• Provide updates on task status, highlight blockers, and support delivery commitments.

• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, developers, security, infrastructure, and operations teams.

• Assist in compliant and reliable deployments.

• Adhere to enterprise architecture standards, secure development practices, and platform development guidelines.

• Develop expertise in Palantir Foundry development frameworks, ontology-driven application development, and enterprise data integration patterns.

• Utilize modern and AI-assisted engineering tools where applicable.

• Continuously enhance technical knowledge in software engineering, data engineering, and platform-based application delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with at least 4 years of related experience.

• Alternatively, a minimum of 10 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.

• Proficient in developing software applications using languages such as Python, Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar.

• Experienced in full stack software development, encompassing frontend development, backend services, APIs, and data-driven applications.

• Knowledgeable in relational or non-relational databases, data transformation logic, and systems integration.

• Familiar with version control, code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and CI/CD concepts.

• Experience in agile development environments and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Familiar with Palantir Foundry, including pipelines, Code Repositories, Workshop, Operational Applications, or ontology-based development.

• Experience in building or supporting enterprise data pipelines, ETL processes, or application integrations across various systems.

• Proficient with frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.

• Skilled in backend/API development and scripting using Python or Java.

• Knowledgeable about cloud platforms, DevOps concepts, containerization, or infrastructure automation.

• Exposure to AI/ML-enabled workflows, analytics applications, or data products.

• Experience in regulated industries such as defense, aerospace, manufacturing, finance, or healthcare.

• Familiar with secure software development practices and data governance concepts.
