This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and configure business systems, including upgrades and enhancements for designated technology platforms.
• Act as the main point of contact for application users requiring support.
• Detect and resolve application-related issues, including those impacting other application teams.
• Conduct impact assessments for proposed changes.
• Create and test modifications to systems.
• Recognize opportunities for enhancing platform performance to support business processes and requirements.
• Lead the estimation process for enhancements and support requests.
• Oversee workflow design, configure and test system modifications, and evaluate technical challenges.
• Collaborate with business systems stakeholders and software vendor implementation teams.
• Gain insight into operational needs and optimize business workflows via technology.
• Engage in training sessions and assist end users.
• Resolve inquiries and issues.
• Provide support to end users for tracked concerns.
• Discuss project and issue progress with project leadership.
• Assign or delegate configuration tasks and other activities to Application Analysts or Managed Services team members.
• Serve as the Applications Manager's delegate during incident or problem resolution.
• Mentor junior analysts and offer peer guidance.
• Spearhead the design and documentation of internal processes for ongoing IT improvement.
• Collaborate within cross-functional teams and maintain communication with project leaders, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders.
• Adhere to the company’s mission, values, and Quality Management System policies and procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline; alternatively, a high school diploma/general education diploma and 4 years of relevant experience in place of a Bachelor’s degree.
• Over 5 years of experience in developing or configuring technology solutions in an application analyst or project delivery capacity.
• Recognized as a Subject Matter Expert in one or more of the following areas: patient identification workflows in healthcare, revenue cycle, CRM & MyChart, Patient Registration, or lab order entry.
• Must possess or have the ability to obtain relevant Epic software application certification within 8 weeks of hire.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Proven capability to fulfill the Essential Duties with or without accommodation.
• Preferred: relevant certifications, particularly Epic Professional Billing.
• Preferred: professional experience in Health Care or Biotechnology.
• Preferred: working knowledge of agile delivery methodologies.
• Capable of working normal business hours and being on-call, with potential for nights and weekends.
• Willingness to travel approximately 5% of the working time.
• Able to lift up to 10 pounds for about 5% of a typical workday.
• Competent in working in front of a computer screen and/or typing for about 90% of a typical workday.
• Must comply with relevant personal protective equipment requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to function in a cross-functional and complex matrix environment.
• Eager to learn new software applications and adapt to change.
• Regular and dependable attendance.
