This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the estimation process for enhancement or support requests.
• Direct the design of workflows, configure and test system modifications, and investigate technical challenges.
• Collaborate with business systems stakeholders and software vendor implementation teams.
• Gain insights into operational requirements and pinpoint opportunities for workflow enhancements through technology.
• Engage in training sessions and assist end users.
• Resolve problems and address inquiries.
• Offer end-user support for issues recorded in tracking systems.
• Review project and issue statuses with project leadership.
• Assign or delegate configuration tasks and other responsibilities to Application Analysts or Managed Services team members.
• Serve as a delegate for the Applications Manager in resolving incidents or problems.
• Mentor junior analysts and provide leadership among peers.
• Spearhead the internal process design and documentation for ongoing IT enhancements.
• Conduct business systems design and configuration, upgrades, enhancements, impact assessments, and system modifications for designated technology platforms.
• Act as the primary support contact for application end users, identifying and resolving application-related issues.
• Collaborate within cross-functional teams and maintain communication with project leadership, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders.
• Adhere to and support the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline; or a high school diploma/general education diploma combined with 4 years of pertinent experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing or configuring technology solutions in an application analyst or project delivery capacity.
• Subject Matter Expert in one or more of the following areas: patient identification workflows in healthcare, revenue cycle, CRM & MyChart, Patient Registration, or lab order entry.
• Possession of or the ability to secure relevant Epic software application(s) certification within 8 weeks of employment.
• Authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
• Capable of performing essential duties with or without accommodation.
• Preferred: relevant certifications, with a preference for Epic Professional Billing.
• Preferred: professional working knowledge in Healthcare or Biotechnology.
• Preferred: professional working knowledge of agile delivery methodologies.
• Ability to work standard business hours and be on-call, with possible night and weekend shifts.
• Willingness to travel approximately 5% of working time.
• Capacity to lift up to 10 pounds for about 5% of a typical workday.
• Ability to work in front of a computer screen and/or type for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
• Must comply with applicable personal protective equipment requirements.
