Senior Appian Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the design, development, testing, and implementation of sophisticated Appian-based solutions for the FASOR project.

• Architect, design, and deploy Appian applications, interfaces, and integrations.

• Conduct code reviews and uphold Appian coding standards, DoD secure coding practices, and configuration management protocols.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical challenges across Appian and integrated Army systems.

• Offer mentorship and technical support to junior and intermediate Appian developers.

• Assist in the integration, deployment, and maintenance of Appian solutions throughout Army enterprise and cloud environments.

• Work collaboratively with Government stakeholders, functional analysts, and end users to convert business requirements into automated Appian workflows.

• Fully engage in Agile ceremonies, structures, and tools in accordance with PWS paragraph 3.1.7.3.

• Create and sustain technical documentation that supports relevant CDRL deliverables.

• Provide technical leadership within the Digital Solutions Division, ensuring secure, scalable, and sustainable application delivery that aligns with Army readiness and cybersecurity compliance objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electronics Engineering, or a related Engineering or Technical discipline, or four additional years of relevant professional experience.

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience within the past eight (8) years in designing, developing, and maintaining software for various engineering applications; collaborating with analysts to understand analytic and interface needs; developing tools and interfaces; establishing operational specifications; and analyzing software requirements.

• At least three (3) years of hands-on experience with Appian development, including process models, interfaces, records, integrations, and application deployment in a live production environment.

• Proven application of DoD database and code security standards.

• Federal Investigative Standard: Tier 3.

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

• Active or interim DoD SECRET clearance, or the capability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET clearance.

• Individuals conducting technical analysis of systems with privileged access must meet IA Technical Level II criteria as per DoDD 8140.01 and the stipulations of AR 25-2 for privileged access to systems.
