Senior Appian Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with senior leadership to define and design Appian solutions that align with client expectations and business requirements.

• Oversee scrum teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions utilizing an agile methodology.

• Create software solutions as part of a software delivery team.

• Provide mentorship and development opportunities for Junior Appian Developers.

• Keep technical knowledge up to date.

• Independently carry out requirement discovery, data modeling, and the design/build of BPM applications.

• Architect small-scale projects with the use of plugins, external systems, and APIs.

• Conduct thorough code reviews, identify logical errors, recommend refactoring, and suggest more efficient and scalable solutions.

• Assist in implementing enhanced alternatives and influence coding standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• US Citizenship is mandatory.

• Minimum of 2 years leading software development teams using Appian.

• 4–6 years of experience in software development engagements (Appian experience preferred).

• Prior experience with databases and system integration is essential.

• Familiarity with agile environments is required.

• Advanced knowledge of databases, including stored procedures, triggers, functions, and explain plans.

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as software engineering, engineering, or computer science.

• Appian Level 2 certification, Scrum training, SQL proficiency, performance tools, and automation testing expertise would enhance a candidate's appeal.

• Experience in requirement discovery, data modeling, and the design and development of BPM applications would be beneficial.

• Knowledge of plugins, external systems, and APIs would set a candidate apart.
