Senior Android Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.

📋 Description

• Design and develop native Android functionalities with an emphasis on performance, stability, and scalability.

• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate features associated with the product’s blockchain/Web3 ecosystem.

• Implement strong security measures for user authentication and sensitive data protection.

• Engage in code reviews and architectural discussions to enhance project quality.

• Contribute to the overall engineering excellence of the team.

• Work closely with product design to guarantee a seamless and consistent native user experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in Android development.

• Proficient in Kotlin programming language.

• Familiarity with Jetpack Compose and/or the conventional View system.

• Experience working with Coroutines/Flow.

• Knowledge of the Google Play release process.

• Experience with integrating REST/GraphQL APIs.

• Understanding of client-server architecture.

• Advanced English skills are required for effective communication with the client.

• Java experience is advantageous.

• Previous experience with blockchain/Web3 projects would be a plus.

• Understanding of security standards for applications managing digital assets is desirable.
