Senior Android Developer, Ad SDK Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and manage native Android SDKs utilized in production settings.

• Introduce new features to the SDK and optimize existing functionalities.

• Guarantee stability, backward compatibility, and quality of releases for the SDK.

• Design and oversee SDK architecture, packaging, versioning, and release workflows.

• Maintain distribution pipelines for Maven and Gradle.

• Create and uphold automated and device-based testing solutions.

• Investigate and rectify SDK defects, integration challenges, and issues reported by publishers.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance SDK reliability and performance.

• Engage in release planning, validation, and quality assurance activities.

• Provide support to external publishers during the SDK integration process and troubleshooting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of professional Android development experience.

• Strong commercial expertise in Kotlin and Java.

• Demonstrated experience in developing native Android SDKs or libraries.

• Solid understanding of Android SDK architecture and lifecycle.

• Practical experience with SDK packaging and distribution tools like Maven Central, JitPack, and Gradle plugins.

• Knowledge of versioning, release management, and dependency management.

• Hands-on experience with automated testing and device-based testing.

• Strong emphasis on software quality and reliability in production.

• Experience in release-critical environments.

• Ability to troubleshoot complex integration and compatibility challenges.

• Good communication skills with the capability to work in a distributed team setting.

• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency or higher.
