Senior Android Developer, Ad SDK Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and maintain native Android SDKs utilized in production environments.

• Implement new features for the SDK and refine existing functionalities.

• Ensure the stability, backward compatibility, and quality of SDK releases.

• Design and support the architecture, packaging, versioning, and release processes of the SDK.

• Maintain distribution pipelines using Maven and Gradle.

• Create and uphold automated and device-based testing solutions.

• Investigate and address SDK defects, integration challenges, and issues reported by publishers.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance SDK reliability and performance.

• Participate in release planning, validation, and quality assurance activities.

• Assist external publishers during SDK integration and troubleshooting.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of commercial experience in Android development.

• Strong commercial background in Kotlin and Java.

• Demonstrated experience in developing native Android SDKs or libraries.

• In-depth understanding of Android SDK architecture and its lifecycle.

• Practical experience with SDK packaging and distribution tools such as Maven Central, JitPack, and Gradle plugins.

• Experience in versioning, release management, and handling dependencies.

• Hands-on experience with automated testing and device-based testing.

• A strong commitment to software quality and production reliability.

• Experience in environments critical to release processes.

• Capability to troubleshoot complex integration and compatibility challenges.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a distributed team environment.

• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency or higher.
