This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create the gold layer utilizing conformed entities for customer, account, project, product, and contract.

• Address identity resolution across Salesforce, the console, Stripe, and the billing system.

• Manage and version the semantic layer, ensuring consistent metric definitions for dashboards, notebooks, and agents.

• Develop tools, permissions, and MCP interfaces to enable analyst agents to access data securely.

• Implement assertions for grain, uniqueness, and cross-system reconciliation, directing issues to designated owners.

• Assess agent outputs against verified answers and monitor accuracy, refusal, and confidently incorrect rates.

• Provide real solutions to inquiries from sales, product, and finance while establishing reusable models.

⛳️ Requirements

• Daily, complex engagement with AI tools and an AI-first approach to work.

• Proficiency in production-level SQL and Python.

• Experience managing a semantic or metrics layer, such as dbt, Cube, LookML, or similar tools.

• Strong judgment in modeling concerning grain, keys, data issues, and business definitions.

• Ability to operate within evolving infrastructure without established processes.

• Excellent writing skills.

• Familiarity with usage-based or consumption-based business models (preferred).

• Experience with real-time billing and consumption systems (preferred).

• Knowledge of lakehouse architectures, including Iceberg, Athena, Trino, or similar (preferred).

• Contributions to open-source data or AI initiatives (preferred).
