This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +5 more states.
β’ Gather requirements and develop specifications for RHTP ETL/ELT solutions.
β’ Design, create, test, and implement ETL/ELT solutions that align with strategic initiatives and business needs.
β’ Construct pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric.
β’ Integrate data from Dataverse and source systems.
β’ Create ingestion and transformation patterns based on Lakehouse architecture.
β’ Support curated datasets for analytics and reporting purposes.
β’ Design the architecture of pipelines, including data mappings, transformation logic, validation rules, scheduling, monitoring, and deployment strategies.
β’ Coordinate User Acceptance Testing to secure end-user approval and satisfaction.
β’ Adhere to change-control procedures and produce technical documentation.
β’ Oversee the health, performance, reliability, and data quality of ETL/ELT processes.
β’ Identify patterns in service issues and document remediation, operational procedures, mappings, and support processes.
β’ Engage in professional development activities.
β’ Develop and implement industry security standards for integrations.
β’ Safeguard confidential healthcare information and PHI in accordance with applicable regulations.
β’ Perform additional duties as assigned.
β’ A High School Diploma is mandatory.
β’ 5β7 years of development experience is required for candidates with a computer industry-related degree.
β’ 5β7 years of development experience in a healthcare or insurance-related setting may be acceptable with a bachelor's degree in any field.
β’ Significant work experience in a relevant field may substitute for the required bachelor's degrees.
β’ Practical experience with Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse, and SSIS is essential.
β’ Experience in integrating Microsoft Dataverse, enterprise applications, databases, APIs, and external data sources is necessary.
β’ Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server is required.
β’ Proficiency in SQL and T-SQL at an expert level is expected.
β’ Familiarity with data engineering best practices, metadata-driven processing, incremental loading, data quality, security, resiliency, documentation, version control, and CI/CD automation is important.
β’ Experience with Git and automated deployment frameworks is valuable.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio.
β’ Experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Platform technologies is preferred.
β’ Background in data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and cloud-based analytics platforms is advantageous.
β’ Experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements, data mappings, specifications, and solution designs is needed.
β’ Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is required.
β’ Experience in managing and protecting PHI is essential.
β’ Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, and Office applications is necessary.
β’ Microsoft certification in Azure, Fabric, SQL Server, Data Engineering, or related technologies is preferred but not mandatory.
β’ Candidates must reside in NC, SC, GA, TN, VA, MD, or FL.
