This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Transfer derived data points from development through QA into production, which includes defining logic and necessary tests.
• Develop data methodology and logic for episode triggers, provider attribution, cost standardization, as well as quality measure numerators, denominators, and exclusions.
• Oversee and enhance Clarify's reference data library, encompassing mappings for physician and facility affiliations, codesets, derivative mappings, geographic information, and service-line categories.
• Utilize reconciliation SQL, conduct version-over-version comparisons, and perform impact analysis to validate data.
• Implement ongoing data-test coverage, baseline comparisons, and completeness thresholds.
• Execute data refresh and delivery schedules for customer environments post-ingestion.
• Analyze test failures to identify root causes in collaboration with engineering, and pass validated groupings to data science and product teams.
• Define the scope of feature requests from product, clinical informatics, and customer teams.
• Draft specifications and acceptance criteria, determine ownership, and monitor features through to release.
• Address cross-team methodology decisions pertaining to attribution logic, referral definitions, and provider reference data.
• Evaluate AI-assisted tooling output against source data and set appropriate review standards.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, technical, or health-related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least five years of experience in data analysis, healthcare analytics, or a similar data-intensive role.
• Proficient in advanced SQL.
• Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem.
• Experience with leading AI models, particularly in their application for code development.
• Understanding of healthcare data, including claims, provider or network data, and healthcare claim codes.
• Experience managing data in a production environment, including scheduled table refreshes, downstream dependencies, and quality assurance prior to release.
• Ability to clearly write specifications, acceptance criteria, and decision records.
• Preferred: Expertise in a healthcare domain such as episode grouping, risk adjustment, quality measurement, or provider and network reference data, including CMS or NCQA measure specifications, clinical value sets, or HL7, FHIR, and X12.
• Preferred: Experience with BI and dashboarding tools.
• Preferred: Regularly conducted data quality checks.
