Senior Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Define requirements and execute adjustments to attribution logic, sources, and data marts.

• Oversee the migration of dbt models, Airflow DAGs, and sources to the primary DWH platform.

• Develop and enhance incremental BigQuery data marts, encompassing recalculations and backfills.

• Establish data quality checks and investigate any discrepancies.

• Evaluate external inputs to guarantee reliable data delivery.

• Engage in testing, validation, releases, and technical documentation.

• Assist in the migration of a data delivery and attribution pipeline to the core data warehouse platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Intermediate language proficiency.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Analytics Engineering, DWH Engineering, or Data Analysis.

• Proficient in SQL and a solid understanding of Python for ETL and data processing.

• Familiarity with DWH architecture, ODS, data marts, incremental loads, history handling, and deduplication.

• Experience with BigQuery or comparable columnar databases, including data mart design and optimization.

• Proficient in using dbt for large incremental projects and Airflow or similar orchestration tools.

• Experience in pipeline migration, data parity validation, Git, Data Quality, and Data Governance.

• Capability to convert stakeholder needs into data requirements.

• Candidates must be located in the EU, Serbia, Georgia, Armenia, or Kazakhstan.

• Must be able to work in the CET time zone.

• English proficiency check is required.
