Senior Analyst, Strategic Finance and Reporting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and sustain revenue and churn forecasting models.

• Consistently refine forecasting techniques to boost accuracy and predictability.

• Conduct variance analyses between forecasts and actual performance, providing actionable insights.

• Integrate data from various sources including Salesforce, Redshift, Tableau, and others.

• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to collect, validate, and synchronize data.

• Perform in-depth analyses to identify trends, anomalies, and underlying causes.

• Create and maintain dashboards and reports that track GTM KPIs, sales performance, and revenue and cost trends.

• Share key insights, forecasts, and recommendations with senior stakeholders.

• Assist in budgeting, goal-setting, and revenue growth initiatives by providing data-driven guidance.

• Ensure data accuracy, governance, and integrity throughout reporting and analytics.

• Identify opportunities to optimize reporting, automate workflows, and enhance analytical efficiency.

• Serve as a subject matter expert in forecasting methodologies, reporting best practices, and analytics tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in Go-to-Market Analytics, Sales Forecasting, or Sales Performance & Reporting, preferably in a SaaS environment.

• Practical experience with sales forecasting, financial modeling, budget-to-actual variance analysis, and revenue reporting.

• Advanced expertise in Excel or Google Sheets, including complex formulas and pivot tables.

• Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce and data warehousing tools such as Redshift is preferred.

• Proficient SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Capability to convey complex insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Comfortable in dynamic, high-growth environments.
