Senior Analyst, Strategic Finance and Reporting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Construct, enhance, and uphold revenue and churn forecasting models.

• Refine forecasting methodologies to boost accuracy and predictability.

• Execute variance analysis between forecasts and actual outcomes, providing actionable insights.

• Integrate data from Salesforce, Redshift, Tableau, and additional sources for forecasting and reporting purposes.

• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to collect, validate, and synchronize data.

• Conduct in-depth analyses to identify trends, anomalies, and underlying causes.

• Create and sustain dashboards and reports that monitor GTM KPIs, sales performance, revenue, and cost trends.

• Present insights, forecasts, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

• Assist in budgeting, goal-setting, and revenue enhancement initiatives.

• Ensure data accuracy, governance, and integrity throughout reporting and analytics.

• Optimize reporting, automate workflows, and enhance analytical efficiency.

• Act as a subject matter expert in forecasting methodologies, reporting best practices, and analytics tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in Go-to-Market Analytics, Sales Forecasting, or Sales Performance & Reporting, preferably within a SaaS context.

• Practical experience with sales forecasting, financial modeling, budget-to-actual variance analysis, and revenue reporting.

• Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets, including complex formulas and pivot tables.

• Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce and data warehousing tools such as Redshift is preferred.

• Strong SQL capabilities for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.

• Ability to convey complex insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
