This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Oversee the Procure-to-Pay process for indirect materials.
• Identify and evaluate qualified suppliers based on requirements, utilizing existing agreements.
• Manage the entire purchase order process from requisition to invoice payment for designated commodities within the Indirect team.
• Obtain price quotes and negotiate pricing and delivery terms to support supplier and cost strategies.
• Analyze supplier quotes and provide sourcing recommendations and decisions.
• Ensure on-time delivery of products according to schedule.
• Initiate negotiations with suppliers regarding price, lead time, and terms and conditions.
• Complete purchase order documentation as per company policies and procedures.
• Ensure timely order placement to meet business needs and adhere to team-defined turnaround times.
• Collaborate with requisitioners and other functional groups.
• Work independently as a team member on additional projects that support the Supply Chain organization.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers to promote cost-effective procurement solutions, maintain compliance, and enhance processes.
• Must have authorization to work in Mexico without the company's immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience using SAP procurement software or similar ERP systems in a supply chain or procurement setting, including Oracle, Epicor, PeopleSoft, APEX, or PRISM.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information fluently and professionally in both written and spoken English.
• Proficient in SAP and Ariba (Procurement functions, Business Warehouse, Business Objects).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with lean principles and strategies for process improvement.
• Knowledge of indirect commodities in a manufacturing or aerospace context.
• Experience in NPI (New Product Introduction) purchasing, encompassing sourcing and procurement.
