This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +2 more states.
• Prepare and distribute RFQs/RFPs.
• Evaluate quotes/proposals and analyze the outcomes.
• Examine drawings, specifications, and purchasing history to establish sourcing strategies.
• Oversee proposal and quotation processes, including documentation and compliance packages.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers regarding pricing, scheduling, and terms and conditions.
• Ensure adherence to FAR/DFARS, RTX terms, and export/import regulations.
• Review Statements of Work and create PIAs/NDAs.
• Identify, evaluate, and conduct due diligence on suppliers; seek alternatives as necessary.
• Perform cost, price, and best-value analyses to support sourcing decisions.
• Monitor supplier performance after awards.
• Foster supplier engagement to achieve critical program milestones.
• Balance strategic planning with daily tactical execution.
• Collaborate across functions with EXIM, Legal, and senior leadership.
• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
• Knowledge of DoD procurement/subcontract compliance, Public Laws, Policies, FAR/DFAR, and ITAR.
• Proven experience in negotiating terms and conditions.
• Familiarity with SAP procurement software tools, including PRISM and APEX.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• An active and existing DoD TS/SCI security clearance is necessary from day 1.
• Ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance with Poly.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in purchase order management and contract negotiation.
• Experience in supplier negotiations, price analysis, source selection, and justification.
• Proficiency in RTX supply chain systems and SAP PRISM purchasing tools.
• Ability to engage with senior management, cross-functional teams, and program leaders.
• Skill in managing multiple priorities and facilitating cross-functional discussions.
• Experience in negotiating terms and conditions and mentoring others in negotiation skills.
