Senior Analyst, Payments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise the implementation of billing and payment initiatives.

• Assess operational processes, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and apply improvements within Zillow's billing and payment workflows in Zuora.

• Broaden reporting capabilities for billing and payments by leveraging AI technologies.

• Review operational workflows and identify opportunities for automation in collaboration with business, accounting, and technical teams.

• Lead efforts to improve card and ACH acceptance performance while minimizing processing expenses.

• Oversee incident response and resolution for payment-related outages and performance issues.

• Propel projects aimed at enhancing Zuora functionalities and its integration with both upstream customer-facing systems and downstream processing partners.

• Act as the main contact for SOX audits and compliance assessments.

• Collect business requirements and create functional specifications for tailored payment software features.

• Analyze upstream ERP scenarios and provide actionable insights.

• Evaluate custom solutions and test outcomes for technical, business, and regulatory compliance.

• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles and assist in the deployment of payment solutions.

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in Zuora and maintain its configurations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Finance, or Accounting.

• 5+ years of experience in a technology company, concentrating on Finance, eCommerce, Subscription, and operational support frameworks.

• 5+ years in Accounting, Corporate Finance, or Billing/Payments utilizing enterprise ERP/billing systems such as Zuora, NetSuite, or Oracle.

• Knowledgeable about PCI, NACHA, and SOX compliance, along with audit requirements and controls.

• Strong analytical abilities and advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.

• Proficient in using Jira for project management.

• Familiar with AI tools like Databricks, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and NotebookLM.

• Demonstrated experience collaborating with technical stakeholders, including product managers, developers, and data management teams.

• Excellent cross-functional teamwork and task prioritization capabilities.

• Outstanding business insight, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
