Senior Analyst, Financial Systems – BlackLine

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +32 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in the administration, upkeep, enhancement, and optimization of the BlackLine platform.

• Act as a vital resource for BlackLine across various modules, primarily focusing on Journal Entries and future financial automation capabilities.

• Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, IT, Accenture administrative resources, offshore service teams, implementation partners, and transformation teams.

• Ensure a stable, scalable, and well-governed financial systems platform.

• Manage priorities and deliverables among internal stakeholders, implementation partners, third-party providers, and offshore resources.

• Aid in the configuration, testing, implementation, and production operations of financial systems.

• Diagnose root causes and create scalable solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in supporting BlackLine or a similar financial close, journal entry, workflow, or automation platform.

• Practical experience in financial systems administration, configuration, testing, implementation, or production support.

• Familiarity with accounting processes, journal entries, financial controls, and close management activities.

• Capability to coordinate priorities and deliverables across internal stakeholders, implementation partners, third-party providers, and offshore resources.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities within a large, complex enterprise environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Preferred experience in BlackLine administration and relevant BlackLine certification.

• Desired experience in supporting BlackLine Journal Entries and one or more other BlackLine modules.

• Experience with SAP, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, Workday, or another major ERP platform is preferred.

• Knowledge of financial system integrations, middleware, data interfaces, and enterprise security concepts is preferred.

• Familiarity with banking, treasury, cash accounting, or financial operations processes is preferred.

• Experience in supporting finance transformation, shared services, or center-of-excellence environments is preferred.

• Familiarity with Agile delivery, project implementation, testing, and change management practices is preferred.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are preferred.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities are preferred.
