Senior Analyst, EPM Planning – Consolidations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Serve as a key member of the EPM Center of Excellence (COE) to enhance Stanley Black & Decker’s global finance processes through strategic initiatives, process enhancements, and technological investments.

• Collaborate with Corporate and Business Unit Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) teams to ensure that financial applications fulfill functional specifications.

• Deliver functional support for Oracle EPM Applications, including Oracle Cloud Planning/PCM/EDM, HFM, FDM, and Smart View.

• Liaise with Finance and Technical teams to confirm that applications align with business needs.

• Identify and propose process enhancements for planning and reporting activities.

• Assist in the migration from on-premise HFM to EPM Cloud Financial Close & Consolidations.

• Develop functional specifications for future financial consolidation processes.

• Oversee testing and training phases to ensure a successful implementation.

• Work closely with Finance users to define scope, evaluate impacts, design, test, and implement enhancements to EPM applications.

• Collaborate with SBD leadership and business unit FP&A users to maintain and deliver Planning capabilities.

• Partner with Controllership regarding FDM and HFM processes, covering financial data uploads, data mapping, month-end closures, forecast consolidation, and financial certifications.

• Recognize training opportunities for users to enhance EPM application support.

• A genuine curiosity to comprehend operational mechanics and utilize application design expertise to enhance financial outcomes.

• Proficient in financial management, with experience in utilizing modeling tools for reporting and projecting summarized results.

• Excellent interpersonal abilities and effective communication skills across all levels of a matrixed organization.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Data Analytics.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Finance or Analytics role.

• Preferred experience with Oracle applications such as Hyperion Planning, Essbase, or HFM, or similar financial planning/reporting software.

• Outstanding Microsoft Excel proficiency.
