This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Develop and implement strategies to promote adoption, support, and optimization of clinical information systems.
• Improve clinical workflows, data integrity, and system content to enhance patient care safety, quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Work in partnership with the MedHost Clinical Systems Director and team throughout the entire system life cycle.
• Offer 24/7 support for assigned clinical information systems, encompassing workflow, documentation, scheduling, ancillary, and imaging applications.
• Assist in change management, implementation, optimization, and upgrades of clinical systems.
• Oversee facility support issues through ServiceNow and collaborate with vendors to identify root causes and solutions.
• Develop training and educational materials for system modifications.
• Provide education and training to facilities and support continuing user education.
• Engage with clinicians, physicians, leadership, radiology staff, and other stakeholders to prepare staff for the adoption of electronic clinical systems.
• Partner with facility leadership and clinicians to synchronize clinical workflows with electronic solutions.
• Collaborate with HITS and Health SupportCenter teams to eliminate barriers to adoption.
• Implement and support clinical systems and imaging functionalities at designated facilities.
• Monitor and analyze issues across facilities and escalate them until resolution.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse.
• At least 5 years of experience in clinical systems, healthcare IT, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Preference for experience supporting imaging or ancillary clinical applications.
• Capability to perform business mathematical calculations, including rates, ratios, percentages, and interpretation of graphs.
• Moderate computer skills, including proficiency in email, word processing, data entry, spreadsheets, graphics, databases, and presentations.
• Ability to analyze and resolve diverse and complex business challenges.
• Competence in making department-level decisions and recommendations.
• Functional independent judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including task delegation, project oversight, and resource allocation.
• Thorough understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance standards, such as HIPAA.
• Proficient in applying policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices.
• Consistent and reliable attendance.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to perform repetitive upper-body motion for prolonged computer use.
• Required close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision, with the ability to adjust focus.
