Senior Analyst, Capital Allocation & Investments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Assess capital allocation prospects across mergers and acquisitions, organic growth initiatives, and portfolio optimization.

• Assist in the development of business cases and work alongside business leadership and key stakeholders to foster alignment and secure executive backing.

• Execute due diligence for M&A transactions in partnership with Corporate Development and external consultants.

• Perform portfolio analyses to guide prioritization, evaluate capital allocation trade-offs, and support long-term strategic planning.

• Direct financial analyses for complex projects, with a primary focus on mergers and acquisitions.

• Create essential frameworks and infrastructure to bolster capital allocation discipline.

• Provide counsel to senior leadership across business divisions, finance, and other functional teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree.

• Over 4 years of professional experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or valuation/transaction services.

• Strong grasp of advanced corporate finance principles, including valuation, investment returns, and EPS accretion/dilution.

• Capability to lead workstreams autonomously.

• Experience collaborating on M&A deal teams or in a comparable role.

• Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to convey key business insights to leadership.

• Strategic mindset with the capacity to identify and assess growth opportunities.

• High level of self-motivation, proactivity, and a sense of ownership.

• Broad familiarity with life science tools and/or software sectors is advantageous.
