Senior Analyst, Business Operations & Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with various business units at Yelp to leverage data-driven insights for strategic decision-making.

• Deliver hands-on analytical support utilizing Excel, SQL, Salesforce, Python, Google Analytics, Tableau, and other relevant tools.

• Discover actionable insights and propose enhancements to business operations.

• Shape the future direction of Yelp’s business by effectively communicating findings to cross-functional teams.

• Develop Tableau dashboards to enhance visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs), marketing effectiveness, and business trends/drivers.

• Assist in initiatives related to sales incentive compensation, product and pricing trials, customer acquisition, user contribution, and product prioritization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Business, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline.

• Over 2 years of relevant experience in addressing analytical challenges through quantitative methods.

• Familiarity with a range of business models and functions.

• Outstanding Excel modeling capabilities.

• Experience with SQL is advantageous.

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate between detailed data and overarching insights.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams.

• Competence in effectively engaging with both executive management and front-line staff.
