Business Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Enhance and refine the company’s operating system, focusing on planning, reporting, and decision-making frameworks.

• Propel cross-functional initiatives by defining ownership, timelines, dependencies, and potential risks.

• Aid in strategic planning by converting company objectives into operational plans and monitoring progress.

• Recognize bottlenecks and streamline processes across GTM, product, infrastructure, finance, and recruitment.

• Create analyses, dashboards, models, and decision-making materials for leadership.

• Improve visibility into business progress, risks, and necessary interventions.

• Collaborate with company leaders on special projects and operational priorities.

• Ensure alignment of information, decisions, and action items across teams.

• Leverage AI tools and lightweight automation to minimize manual tasks and enhance productivity.

• Strong business acumen with the ability to dissect ambiguous issues into clear, actionable tasks.

• Proven history of enhancing how teams plan, coordinate, and execute projects.

• Capability to transition seamlessly between analysis, project management, and communication.

• Experience collaborating with senior executives and key external stakeholders.

• Robust quantitative skills and proficiency in building models, tracking metrics, and synthesizing operational data.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Ability to operate effectively in an environment with limited structure while providing structure for others.

• Strong sense of ownership and follow-through on tasks.

• Familiarity with AI tools.

• Typically 5–10+ years of professional experience in business operations, strategic operations, chief of staff roles, consulting, finance, program management, or a similarly high-responsibility position.

• Experience in a high-growth technology firm, rapidly scaling startup, or similarly challenging setting.

• Background working across multiple business functions and influencing results without formal authority.

• A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

• Experience with founders or senior executives, cloud infrastructure, AI, developer tools, dashboards, reporting systems, internal tools, consulting, banking, investing, or financial services is a plus.

• An MBA from a competitive program is an additional advantage.
