Senior Analyst, Business Analysis

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Create reporting solutions that convert business and client requirements into effective systems.

• Collaborate with executive stakeholders, clients, and operations teams to transform business goals and workflow modifications into both standard and customized reporting.

• Act as the data and reporting owner for various clients.

• Manage the backlog while prioritizing enhancements and resolving issues using Agile methodologies such as JIRA.

• Formulate requirements with a solutions-oriented approach and provide recommendations.

• Supervise program and report implementation, along with data ingestion processes.

• Utilize dashboards and queries for early identification of issues.

• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data utilized in reporting and analytical tools.

• Manage relationships with stakeholders across multiple business units.

• Interpret business needs as conveyed by clients.

• Provide updates, progress reports, and results to stakeholders and leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in roles such as Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Data-focused Product Owner, with exposure to data governance and quality initiatives.

• Proficiency in SQL, including the ability to write queries for investigation, root cause analysis, and reporting logic definition.

• 1 to 4 years of experience in stakeholder management.

• Capability to elicit, document, and manage requirements while ensuring traceability through development and final validation.

• Ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships as a trusted data advisor.

• Quick comprehension of systems and data structures for technical troubleshooting and resolution.

• Skills in prioritizing conflicting work based on business and client needs while explaining prioritization decisions.

• Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with file transfer, file structure, and related tools like Move It.

• Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake.

• Experience with data analytics tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, and Power BI.

• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, along with specialized training or relevant professional qualifications.

• Preferred: 3 to 5 years of experience in healthcare, including knowledge of claims data formats, risk adjustment methodologies, and member eligibility/enrollment.

• Preferred: Previous project management experience.

• Ability to resolve complex technical issues by tracing data from generation and ingestion through systems and reporting.
