Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Align technology solutions with business strategies to enhance business reporting capabilities.

• Improve technical analyses and the accuracy of forecasting.

• Facilitate operational planning and refine processes to optimize business performance.

• Leverage knowledge of business and data structures to identify data-driven solutions for problems.

• Contribute to the development and upkeep of reports and models.

• Maintain and enhance historical and predictive business metrics and statistics.

• Assist in the creation and compilation of reporting packages on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, including results and variance analysis.

• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and standardization across various business lines.

• Establish standard definitions for key data elements and support initiatives for data consistency, availability, and quality.

• Support technology solutions aimed at reducing manual processes, enhancing controls, improving cycle times, and ensuring consistency.

• Create ad hoc reports using custom queries from the data repository.

• Collaborate with internal and external partners to gather supporting information and data.

• Develop a unified view of product performance and operational support functions.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and professional experience.

• Master's degree is preferred.

• At least 8 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent.

• Minimum of 5 years of work experience, ideally in Payments or a related industry.

• Advanced proficiency in data visualization.

• Advanced proficiency in data modeling.

• Experience in end-to-end analytical solution design.

• Strong focus on business partnership and end-user adoption.

• Ability to translate complex business needs into scalable analytical solutions.

• Capability to establish best practices for visualization and analytics.

• Ability to advocate for responsible self-service analytics.
