Senior Air Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Ensure that the simulation delivers realistic and dynamic training experiences for war-fighter participants.

• Collaborate with other component control cells to guarantee that simulation and scripting responses align with scenario design.

• Provide design, control, and observation support to Air Force and component controllers.

• Utilize simulation and white cell tools to maintain a consistent and synchronized air picture in the Korea Theater of Operations (KTO).

• Troubleshoot issues and offer feedback to promote event consistency and synchronization.

• Contribute to participant performance evaluations through 7AF mechanisms such as After Action Reviews and Lessons Learned.

• Partner with the Pacific Air Simulation Center (PASC) to implement enhancements and improve realism within simulations.

• Assist in theater exercises with U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa as directed by the Commander of USAFE.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior Air Controller at the Brigadier General rank.

• Experience in modeling and simulation.

• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in theater warfighting, including Numbered Air Force organization, roles, responsibilities, and AFFOR and AOC systems, processes, procedures, and operations.

• JFACC experience and expertise in the command and control of U.S. and coalition air operations.

• Recent (within one year) working knowledge of USINDOPACOM war plans.

• Recent (within two years) experience with real-time operational control of a large-scale (OPLAN-size) computer-assisted event.

• Bachelor's Degree and 18 years, or relevant years of experience in lieu of a degree.

• Active Secret clearance.

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
