Senior AI/ML Architect, Applied Field Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Act as the technical authority in demonstrating the capabilities and advantages of Snowflake’s AI and ML features to technical stakeholders across the Americas.

• Collaborate with Snowflake account teams and customer advocates to define and execute proofs of concept leading to successful technical outcomes.

• Provide executive summaries and business value presentations.

• Work in partnership with product and engineering teams to shape AI and ML roadmaps based on customer insights.

• Create scalable resources including blog articles, conference presentations, technical documentation, notebooks, and demonstrations.

• Influence, customize, and uphold Sales Engineering AI and ML sales materials, such as customer presentations, demos, and case studies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning and generative AI solutions in cloud environments.

• Understanding of generative AI methodologies including RAG, few-shot learning, prompt engineering, and model fine-tuning.

• Experience in operationalizing enterprise AI applications such as interactive chat systems or text processing solutions.

• Extensive knowledge of Python and widely-used ML libraries like LangChain, pandas, sklearn, and PyTorch.

• Familiarity with data engineering tools and technologies such as dbt, Airflow, and Spark.

• Excellent presentation skills tailored for both technical and executive audiences.

• A Bachelor’s Degree is required.

• A Master’s Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent experience is preferred.

• Proficient understanding of LLM ecosystem tools like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or other open-source software packages.

• Experience with large-scale infrastructure-as-a-service platforms, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP.

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Snowflake.

• Knowledge and experience with large-scale database technologies such as Snowflake, Netezza, Exadata, Teradata, or Greenplum.
