Senior AI/ML Architect, Applied Field Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Offer practical AI expertise and assistance to technical decision-makers and data scientists.

• Design and develop AI solutions utilizing the Snowflake AI Data Cloud.

• Act as the technical authority showcasing Snowflake’s AI and ML features and benefits to customer technical stakeholders across the Americas.

• Collaborate with account teams and customer advocates to define and execute proofs of concept, leading to successful technical outcomes.

• Present executive summaries and business value analyses.

• Work alongside product and engineering teams to shape AI and ML roadmaps based on customer insights.

• Create scalable content such as blog articles, conference presentations, technical notebooks, and demonstrations.

• Influence, customize, and sustain Sales Engineering AI and ML sales materials, including customer presentations, demonstrations, and success stories.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning and generative AI solutions in cloud environments.

• Understanding of generative AI methodologies, including RAG, few-shot learning, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning.

• Awareness of enterprise AI applications such as interactive chat solutions and text processing.

• Extensive knowledge of Python and popular ML libraries like LangChain, pandas, sklearn, and PyTorch.

• Familiarity with data engineering tools and technologies such as dbt, Airflow, and Spark.

• Excellent presentation abilities for both technical and executive audiences.

• Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.

• A Master’s Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.

• Practical knowledge of LLM ecosystem tools including LangChain, LlamaIndex, or other open-source packages.

• Experience with large-scale infrastructure-as-a-service platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP.

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Snowflake.

• Understanding of large-scale database systems like Snowflake, Netezza, Exadata, Teradata, or Greenplum.
