Senior AI Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and oversee the comprehensive security posture spanning cloud environments, applications, and corporate systems.

• Develop and sustain AI-driven security agents that collect, assess, and prioritize security threats.

• Direct incident response initiatives, including investigation, remediation, and communication efforts.

• Address security vulnerabilities directly within AWS, application code, and infrastructure.

• Create automations and workflows to enhance the efficiency of threat detection and remediation processes.

• Oversee vulnerability scanning, patch management, dependency security, and readiness for compliance.

• Safeguard AI and LLM implementations, focusing on agent permissions, prompt security, and data protection.

• Perform threat modeling, security architecture evaluations, and risk assessments.

• Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, IT, and Product teams to integrate security into development practices.

• Deliver security reports, communicate risks at the executive level, and provide audit support.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Over 10 years of experience in Security Engineering, DevSecOps, Cloud Security, or Incident Response.

• Proficient in Claude, Claude Code, AI agents, MCP servers, APIs, and AI automation workflows.

• Demonstrated experience in designing and deploying AI agent systems suitable for production environments.

• Strong programming abilities in Python and .NET (C#).

• In-depth knowledge of AWS security services, networking, IAM, infrastructure, and cloud architecture.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD security, server hardening, and SIEM platforms.

• Comprehensive understanding of application security, vulnerability management, and frameworks such as NIST, CIS, SOC 2, and ISO 27001.

• Awareness of AI-specific security threats, including prompt injection and data leakage.

• Excellent communication skills with the capacity to convey technical risks to business stakeholders.

• Proficiency in both Spanish and English.

• Experience in the aviation, aerospace, or defense sectors, and exposure to Azure/GCP are advantageous.
