Senior AI Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Create video-based models for medical image analysis.

• Design and enhance medical image processing models.

• Optimize model performance utilizing metrics such as F1, AUC, sensitivity, and specificity.

• Build data pipelines along with preprocessing and augmentation processes.

• Oversee model training, evaluation, and versioning activities.

• Establish and refine MLOps practices.

• Deploy and oversee AI models in live production settings.

• Collaborate with clinical teams to enhance the interpretability of model outputs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline (Master's/PhD preferred).

• More than 7 years of demonstrated experience in AI, Machine Learning, or Computer Vision.

• Proficiency in video-based medical image analysis.

• Familiarity with Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.

• Expertise in model development, training, and evaluation methodologies.

• Experience in data processing and optimization of models.

• Proficient with Git, experiment tracking tools (such as Comet, MLflow), and CI/CD processes.

• Background in ML pipelines, dataset management, and performance metrics.

• Experience handling large-scale data pipelines, class imbalance, and metric-driven model training.

• Capability to iterate swiftly and address challenges.

• Strong communication skills within a team setting.

• Bilingual fluency in Turkish and English.

• Bonus: Familiarity with medical imaging software.

• Bonus: Involvement in segmentation, detection, or classification projects.

• Bonus: Experience with MLOps, CI/CD, Docker, or Kubernetes.
