Applied AI Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and enhance AI agents that detect and verify financial opportunities within the healthcare supply chain, pharmacy, and managed care sectors.

• Examine extensive and complex healthcare datasets to reveal patterns, irregularities, and correlations.

• Design models and analytical strategies for addressing pricing discrepancies, optimizing contracts, and identifying underpayments and negotiation prospects.

• Convert intricate manual analyses into dependable AI-driven capabilities.

• Establish information-extraction methodologies and agent-driven workflows for complex healthcare documentation.

• Work alongside Engineering to transform research findings into scalable product functionalities.

• Set up evaluation frameworks and performance indicators.

• Conduct testing, debugging, and enhancements of models and agents.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and domain experts to advance healthcare data modeling and platform automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–8 years of experience in data science, machine learning engineering, AI engineering, or related disciplines.

• Proficient in Python.

• Strong understanding of statistics, experimental design, and data modeling.

• Experience in building, debugging, and refining LLM-powered agents or workflows.

• Capability to design effective evaluations, recognize failure modes, and systematically enhance performance.

• Demonstrated analytical curiosity and technical acumen.

• Ability to link technical advancements to quantifiable business outcomes.

• Proactive in dynamic and uncertain environments.

• Strong collaboration skills across both technical and non-technical teams.
