Senior AI Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Create video-based models for analyzing medical images

• Design and enhance models for medical image processing

• Optimize model performance using metrics like F1, AUC, sensitivity, and specificity

• Establish data pipelines along with preprocessing and augmentation processes

• Oversee model training, evaluation, and version control

• Set up and refine MLOps processes

• Deploy and oversee AI models within production settings

• Collaborate with clinical teams to enhance the interpretability of model results

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline (Master's/PhD preferred)

• Over 7 years of demonstrable experience in AI / Machine Learning / Computer Vision

• Familiarity with video-based medical image analysis

• Proficient in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow

• Expertise in model development, training, and evaluation

• Background in data processing and model optimization

• Skilled in Git, experiment tracking tools (such as Comet, MLflow, etc.), and CI/CD processes

• Experience with machine learning pipelines, dataset management, and performance metrics

• Knowledge of large-scale data pipelines, class imbalance management, and metric-driven model training

• Capability to iterate swiftly and solve problems effectively

• Strong communication skills within a team environment

• Proficiency in both Turkish and English

• Bonus: Experience with medical imaging software

• Bonus: Experience in segmentation, detection, or classification projects

• Bonus: Familiarity with MLOps, CI/CD, Docker, or Kubernetes

• Bonus: Understanding of DICOM, PACS, HL7/FHIR, or EHR
