This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.
• Collaborate with engagement leaders to convert requirements into dependable technical solutions, clarify specifications, and identify implementation necessities.
• Create and sustain integrations between ERP, finance, and other business systems utilizing APIs, connectors, files, and data services.
• Write maintainable code and automation, map and transform data, and ensure the accuracy of information transfer between systems.
• Utilize version control and conduct code reviews, perform unit and integration testing, and assist with user acceptance testing prior to release.
• Implement solutions following approved processes, verify results post-release, troubleshoot issues, and provide support in line with agreed project parameters.
• Develop AI-enhanced features where applicable, assess their accuracy and limitations, and incorporate necessary human review.
• Adhere to security and confidentiality protocols, utilize appropriate access permissions, and coordinate necessary reviews with client IT teams.
• Document configurations, data flows, testing outcomes, and support instructions.
• Communicate progress and risks effectively, raise issues promptly, and follow through on commitments.
• Perform additional duties within the scope of the practice.
• Operate under typical office conditions and may occasionally travel to off-site locations for training, events, or other requested activities.
• Engage with internal and external customers and other stakeholders throughout the work process.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of pertinent software, integration, or automation engineering experience, or an equivalent demonstrated engineering capability.
• Proficient programming skills in at least one relevant language, such as Python, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript, along with working proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with APIs, authentication, data mapping and transformation, with the capability to investigate and resolve integration challenges.
• Practical experience with ERP or similar business systems and the aptitude to learn unfamiliar applications, data models, and interfaces.
• Experience in testing and deploying software, employing version control, and applying secure configuration practices.
• Familiarity with cloud services and monitoring.
• Ability to organize assigned tasks, produce clear documentation, and articulate technical issues to both business and technical colleagues.
• Willingness to learn through hands-on experience, thoughtful problem-solving, and feedback.
• Good judgment regarding when to work independently and when to seek assistance.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, or Copilot Studio (preferred but not mandatory).
• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion, BlackLine, or similar ERP and financial-close platforms; understanding of financial processes such as closures, approvals, and reconciliations (preferred but not mandatory).
• Experience in evaluating AI-enabled features, developing automated tests, or working with deployment pipelines (preferred but not mandatory).
• Client-facing consulting experience and a desire to enhance business processes through technology (preferred but not mandatory).
• Capability to meet stated physical, cognitive/mental, and office-environment requirements, with reasonable accommodations available.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time may be necessary.
