Senior AI Engineer/Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Design, train, and optimize models and pipelines for STT, NLU, and TTS applications.

• Construct and uphold MLOps pipelines for the deployment, monitoring, and retraining of models.

• Develop APIs and services that showcase AI capabilities to both backend and frontend systems.

• Collaborate with backend engineers to enhance inference performance and minimize end-to-end latency.

• Create frontend prototypes, dashboards, and demonstrations utilizing a modern frontend framework.

• Perform research and controlled experiments to elevate model accuracy, quality, and performance.

• Assess external models and providers against product specifications and measurable benchmarks.

• Document model architectures, experiments, evaluation results, and deployment methodologies.

• Engage in code reviews and uphold high standards of engineering and reproducibility.

• Design, deploy, and enhance AI/ML models that drive a cloud-native intelligent voice assistant platform for customer support, sales, and internal operations.

• Collaborate with backend, frontend, and infrastructure teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as outlined in the job header.

• 7–9 years of experience in AI/ML development.

• Proficient in Python with experience in PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, or similar frameworks.

• Practical experience with speech/audio processing and natural language processing methodologies.

• Hands-on deployment experience using ONNX, TensorRT, Triton, or comparable tools.

• Familiarity with React, Vue.js, or Angular; frontend development is essential.

• Experience with AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI, Azure ML, or a similar cloud AI platform.

• Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with Git and continuous integration and delivery pipelines.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience with real-time streaming utilizing WebSocket or WebRTC.

• Knowledge of model quantization, pruning, and optimization for inference.

• Familiarity with SIP, WebRTC, or PSTN integration.

• Contributions to open-source projects or research publications in AI, speech, or voice fields.
