Senior AI Engineer, Python, LLM, RAG

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create production-ready applications and automation solutions powered by AI using Python.

• Design and execute RAG systems along with agentic workflows.

• Build backend services and REST APIs, particularly utilizing FastAPI.

• Engage with Large Language Models, embedding models, and contemporary agent frameworks.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure the quality, security, and traceability of AI applications.

• Take part in code reviews and assume responsibility for implementations to enhance software continuously.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

• Minimum of five years of professional experience in software development using Python.

• Solid experience in developing backend systems and REST APIs, preferably with FastAPI.

• Hands-on experience with applications based on LLMs, RAG systems, or agentic workflows.

• Familiarity with modern AI frameworks such as LlamaIndex, LangChain, PydanticAI, or similar technologies.

• Ability to produce clean, maintainable, and production-ready code.

• A proactive approach to participating in code reviews and technical discussions.

• A self-sufficient and accountable working style.

• Proficiency in English.

• Alignment with values such as results orientation, quality, honesty, fairness, and teamwork.

• Experience with automation platforms like n8n is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure or Azure AI Services is a plus, but not required.

• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps processes is beneficial but not essential.

• Experience working with vector databases is an advantage but not necessary.
