Senior AI Engineer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create and enhance AI agents along with orchestration functionalities utilizing Python, LangGraph, and LangChain.

• Develop and expand AI-driven guided workflows and automation features.

• Design, develop, and optimize conversational AI and chat-based interfaces.

• Implement capabilities for agent planning, orchestration, memory management, tool invocation, and response generation.

• Integrate AI agents and applications with enterprise-level systems, services, and APIs.

• Support contemporary AI integration frameworks and agent communication methodologies.

• Establish AI observability, monitoring, telemetry, and performance tracking functionalities.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams and stakeholders to expedite platform development and business case deliveries.

• Resolve technical issues, enhance solution reliability, and promote continuous improvements to the platform.

• Contribute to discussions on architecture, best practices, and the adoption of scalable AI engineering standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of practical experience in Python development and enterprise application creation.

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with LangGraph, encompassing agent workflows, stateful orchestration, multi-agent systems, and AI-driven execution processes.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience with LangChain, including the development of LLM-powered applications, tool integrations, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and workflow automation.

• Strong grasp of agentic AI concepts, such as AI agents, planning, orchestration, memory management, and tool invocation frameworks.

• Experience in building and deploying production-grade Generative AI applications and solutions.

• Proven experience in integrating AI applications with enterprise platforms, backend services, and APIs.

• Proficiency in designing and implementing conversational AI and chat-based applications within production settings.

• Familiarity with AI observability, monitoring, telemetry, and evaluation platforms.

• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

• Experience working in Agile development settings and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Practical experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication (preferred).

• Experience in building and deploying multi-agent AI solutions in production environments (preferred).

• Familiarity with implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and knowledge-based AI systems (preferred).

• Experience with vector databases and semantic search technologies (preferred).

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP (preferred).

• Experience working on centralized AI platforms that support multiple business functions and use cases (preferred).

• Exposure to healthcare or other highly regulated enterprise environments (preferred).
