Senior AI Engineer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance AI agents along with orchestration capabilities utilizing Python, LangGraph, and LangChain.

• Create and advance AI-driven guided workflows and automation functionalities.

• Architect, develop, and refine conversational AI and chat-oriented experiences.

• Execute agent planning, orchestration, memory management, tool-calling, and response-generation functionalities.

• Integrate AI agents and applications with enterprise systems, services, and APIs.

• Facilitate modern AI integration frameworks and agent communication protocols.

• Establish AI observability, monitoring, telemetry, and performance tracking functionalities.

• Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to expedite platform development and the delivery of business use cases.

• Resolve technical issues, enhance solution reliability, and promote ongoing platform improvements.

• Participate in architecture discussions, establish best practices, and encourage the adoption of scalable AI engineering standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of practical experience in Python development and enterprise application development.

• More than 2 years of hands-on experience with LangGraph, covering agent workflows, stateful orchestration, multi-agent systems, and AI-driven execution flows.

• At least 2 years of experience with LangChain, including the development of LLM-powered applications, tool integrations, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and workflow automation.

• Solid understanding of agentic AI principles, including AI agents, planning, orchestration, memory management, and tool-calling frameworks.

• Proven experience in building and deploying production-grade Generative AI applications and solutions.

• Background in integrating AI applications with enterprise platforms, backend services, and APIs.

• Experience in designing and implementing conversational AI and chat-based applications in live environments.

• Familiarity with AI observability, monitoring, telemetry, and evaluation platforms.

• In-depth knowledge of software engineering best practices, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

• Experience working in Agile development settings and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Proficient in Python, LangGraph, and LangChain.

• Nice to have: practical experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication.

• Nice to have: experience in building and deploying multi-agent AI solutions in production environments.

• Nice to have: experience in implementing RAG architectures and knowledge-based AI systems.

• Nice to have: familiarity with vector databases and semantic search technologies.

• Nice to have: experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Nice to have: experience in working on centralized AI platforms that support multiple business functions and use cases.
