Senior AI Engineer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance AI agents along with orchestration capabilities utilizing Python, LangGraph, and LangChain.

• Construct and expand AI-driven guided workflows and automation functionalities.

• Design, create, and optimize conversational AI and chat-based interactions.

• Implement capabilities for agent planning, orchestration, memory management, tool-calling, and response generation.

• Integrate AI agents and applications with enterprise systems, services, and APIs.

• Support contemporary AI integration frameworks and agent communication methodologies.

• Establish AI observability, monitoring, telemetry, and performance tracking functionalities.

• Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to expedite platform development and deliver business use cases.

• Troubleshoot technical challenges, enhance solution reliability, and promote continuous improvements to the platform.

• Contribute to discussions on architecture, best practices, and scalable AI engineering standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of practical experience in Python development and enterprise application development.

• More than 2 years of practical experience with LangGraph, covering agent workflows, stateful orchestration, multi-agent systems, and AI-driven execution flows.

• At least 2 years of experience with LangChain, including the development of LLM-powered applications, tool integrations, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and workflow automation.

• Strong grasp of agentic AI concepts, including AI agents, planning, orchestration, memory management, and tool-calling frameworks.

• Proven experience in building and deploying production-grade Generative AI applications and solutions.

• Experience in integrating AI applications with enterprise platforms, backend services, and APIs.

• Background in designing and implementing conversational AI and chat-based applications in production settings.

• Familiarity with AI observability, monitoring, telemetry, and evaluation tools.

• Comprehensive knowledge of software engineering best practices, including testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

• Experience working in Agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication.

• Experience in constructing and deploying multi-agent AI solutions in production.

• Proficient in implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and knowledge-based AI systems.

• Experience with vector databases and semantic search technologies.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Experience working on centralized AI platforms that support various business functions and use cases.
